As a qualified Contracts Manager, Contracts Administrator, Contracts Engineer and Quantity Surveyor. Prasanna has cemented his place within our ranks as a genuine allrounder. With over 12 years of experience working on projects in Sri Lanka and the Sultanate of Oman behind him, he continues to specialize in quantity surveying, contract and claim management, procurement, negotiation, litigation and arbitration.

Prasanna’s education background is comprehensive. He has obtained, LLM – Construction Law and Arbitration – Robert Gordon University, BSc (Hons) – Quantity Surveying & Construction Management – Sheffield Hallam University UK, BTEC HND – Quantity Surveying and Building Economics – Edexcel International UK, Diploma in Project Management with P6 – CAD Centre India and Certificate in Construction Estimating & Valuation with Candy/CCS. He is also a Member of the Charted Institute of Arbitration (MCIArb) and an Incorporate Member of Charted Institute of Building (ICIOB) – Currently pursuing MCIOB.

Thought-out his professional career that has spanned over 12 years Prasanna proved to be a valuable asset for major firms including Pico International LLC, Oman, Al Khalili Construction LLC, Oman, NCC International LLC, Oman and China Harbour Engineering Company, Sri Lanka. His tenures with these companies exposed him to Earth Works Development, Infrastructure Development, Roads, Water Supply Projects, Buildings, Mix Development, Fit Out and Exhibition.

Prasanna’s wide-ranging skill set is a testament to the versatile education and exposure he has received. He possesses sound contract administration acumen and a broad awareness on pervious verdicts/cases related to the construction contracts. He is highly experienced in Contract agreement drafting, interpretation of terms and conditions according to the contracts, Preparation of monthly statement/interim payment application, Preparation of monthly cost/value reports, Production and commercial reports, Certification and payment of subcontractor accounts and monitoring of such accounts against forecasts, Implementation and compliance with the contract change control procedure and monitoring, Project planning and monitoring with Primavera V6, Bourget forecasting and examination during the project, Preparation, negotiation and monitoring during the project issues (EOT claim and cost claim), Delay impact analysis and review, Preparation of final account, Data management. (notification, instruction, contemporary records, day works etc.), Tendering and estimation (with CCS), and Highways Method of Measurement. (CESSM3/POMI).
